NFL 2019 TNF WEEK SEVEN
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS @ DENVER BRONC0S +3.5 50 [U]
GAIRZO’S TNF RECORD = 2-4
Over/Under of the Week
The Chiefs are coming off two poor losses, at Arrowhead Stadium, proving it takes more than a franchise quarterback to win consistently in the NFL.
The Broncs are coming off two straight wins against inconsistent opposition, proving a solid defense can mask a lot of problems—especially a struggling franchise QB.
Here are some revealing, if contradictory trends:
· The Chiefs are 14-4 ATS in their last 18 games vs the AFC West.
· The Broncos are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog.
· The Chiefs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games vs the Broncos.
Denver is a top ten team as a Home Dog—but relatively lousy ATS.
But, we like the way Vic Fangio adjusted his defense against the Bolts last week in L.A..
KC’s O-Line is hobbled, and Patrick Maholmes is still nursing a bum ankle.
We’re taking the wild Horses to run over the Chiefs with Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman;
Denver's Von Miller we’ll get his first two sacks of the season—maybe more if he gets on a tear.
The Under is our Specials pick this week.
Broncos 23 Chiefs 20
